Tabor Flats Herbicide Weeds Treatment   2

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office, is seeking to control invasive and/or noxious weeds on BLM administered land through the application of herbicides. This contract aims to address the management of approximately 2,537 acres in Elko County, NV, utilizing contractor-furnished herbicides, adjuvants, and dyes.

The project is part of BLM's mission to manage public lands for multiple uses while ensuring the health of ecosystems.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. Application of herbicide and adjuvant on approximately 2,537 acres as per the Statement of Work and supporting documents.
A. Terrestrial Tank Mix: Apply 2,4-D at 32 ounces/acre (0.95 lb. ae/acre) combined with Chlorsulfuron at 1 ounce/acre (0.0375 lb AI/acre), non-ionic surfactant (as specified on label), and dye over 2,487 acres.
B. Water's Edge Tank Mix: Apply up to water's edge approved 2,4-D (Alligare 2,4-D or equivalent) at 64 ounces/acre (1.9 lb. ae/acre) along with a compatible non-ionic surfactant and dye over 50 acres.
2. The contractor must provide a detailed technical approach including a proposed timeline, number of employees/crews, equipment description, quality control plan, safety plan addressing pesticide safety and accidental spills, GPS data collection experience, and identification of key personnel with relevant experience.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from June 2, 2025 to July 18, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Elko County, Nevada.
