Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of a TA Instruments Discovery DSC 2500 Package. The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) requires this equipment for lab analysis as their current equipment is reaching end of life. The goal of the contract is to acquire a high-performance thermal analysis instrument that meets specific technical requirements.

The contract includes the following key items:

1. **TA Instruments Discovery DSC 2500 Package**:
- Features: New Fusion Cell with patented Tzero technology, maximum operation temperature of 725 °C, lower temperature limit extendable to -180 °C with liquid nitrogen cooling.
- Includes innovative touch screen interface, linear autosampler, Modulated DSC® (MDSC®), and TRIOS software for data management and analysis.

2. **NS Thermal Dell Instrument Controller**:
- Model: Dell OptiPlex 7020 Plus - SFF Core i7 i7-14700 2.1 GHz, OEM Part # NS0436.100, with specifications of 16 GB RAM and SSD 512 GB.

3. **LN2 Pump Accessory (SHPG)**:
- Part # 973900.901, designed for efficient cooling down to -180°C, featuring a self-filling capability from a larger liquid nitrogen source.

Delivery is expected by October 16, 2024.
