St Cloud Library Cataloging Q&A 36C26323Q0092 What will be the quantity of books during the base year? There will be 250 items in the base 6 months, with the subsequent option years requiring 500 items. Will there be a monthly requirement? There is no monthly requirement. Would the government consider an additional CLIN in order to allow more flexibility to scale? We will not be considering a BPA or a per item cost. What page do I need to sign within the contract? Blocks 30 Standard Form 1449 needs signature. C.6 VAAR 852.219-77 VA NOTICE OF LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE FOR SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION (SEP 2021) (DEVIATION) This needs to be signed and returned. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Healthcare Administration (VHA), St. Cloud VAMC Medical Library requires library support services for original and copy cataloging of library items to support STC staff.

Work Details
Perform original (full-level) and copy cataloging for English-language books, serials, sound recordings, and visual materials using National Library of Medicine (NLM) classification and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH);
apply Cutter-Sanborn three-figure author table;
create or update MARC records including fields 060, indicators, Cutter number, workmark, and publication date;
handle multivolume serials appropriately;
provide digital machine-readable MARC files (.txt) for each item named with title_author_date, delivered via email without compression;
affix white 1" x 1.5" spine labels and clear glossy 4.5" x 2.24" label covers per specified attachment rules;
edit label sets for volume (v.#), number (no.#), part (pt.#), and copy (c.#) conventions;
return and correct improperly cataloged items FOB origin at no cost;
replace or reimburse VA for lost or damaged items using fair market value;
ship cataloged items FOB destination with tracking number and notify VA POC within 15 hours including ship date, tracking number, and corresponding MARC files;
coordinate all shipments with the VA Post-award POC.

Period of Performance
Base period: December 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023;
Option 1: June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024;
Option 2: June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025;
Option 3: June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026;
Option 4: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027.

St. Cloud VA Health Care System, Building 14 Warehouse, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, Minnesota 56303.
