Description

This is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirement to support T-AKE fleet upgrade to the MK27F Gyro Compass system. See attached Combined Synopsis and Solicitation for further guidance.

Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Norfolk, VA is seeking to support the T-AKE fleet upgrade to the MK27F Gyro Compass system. The required delivery date for the parts is 15 April 2022, and the shipping destination will be Norfolk, VA.

Work Details
The contract involves procuring various parts for the MK27F Gyro Compass system for T-AKE Class ships. The parts include MK27 installation kit, compass monitor system, universal data recorder, synchro 400Hz reference oscillator, data converter, RS422 distribution box, navprint course and rudder printer, MK27 connector kit, rate of turn indicator, rate of turn indicator dimmers, navitwin IV CDU, navitwin IV cable, and navitwin IV frame. The quantities and unit prices for each part are specified in the solicitation document.
