System Engineering and Integration Support

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA), through its Professional Services Contracting Division, is issuing a task order to The MITRE Corporation under the IRS Federally Funded Research and Development Contract. This task order supports the DHA's modernization programs, including the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and the Digital Front Door initiative.

Work Details
The contract involves providing acquisition, technical, operational, and management guidance to support the PEO Medical Systems/CIO J-6. Tasks include strengthening hardware and software acquisition processes, systems engineering, integration posture, complex enterprise acquisitions and analytics, technical oversight, performance management, governance, change management, and monitoring of integrated solutions.

The FFRDC will also advise on cybersecurity, applications rationalization, establishing standards for a global service center, software engineering baselines, enterprise architecture recommendations, IT modernization support, data management, digital workspace development, and cloud transformation.

Period of Performance
From June 25, 2024 to June 24, 2025 with an option period from December 25, 2024 to June 24, 2025.
