DLA Troop Support Pacific Reference Number: DLATSP-18-SS-0003

CLASS VIII; MEDICAL REAGENTS AND

CONSUMABLES FOR SYSMEX XT-1800 HEMATOLOGY

ANALYZER AT THE BUSH BRANCH CLINIC OF

THE UNITED STATES NAVAL HOSPITAL, OKINAWA, JAPAN

DLA Troop Support Pacific Location: Okinawa, Japan

Requirement : The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Pacific is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify local sources capable and interested in fulfilling a requirement for the procurement and delivery of CLASS VIII, Medical supplies, materials and equipment items in support of the United States Naval Hospital (USNH) Bush Branch Clinic, located in Okinawa, Japan.

The Contractor shall provide SYSMEX Reagents, Quality Controls and Consumables compatible with existing Government property. The Bush Branch Clinic of the USNH Okinawa, Japan currently operates a SYSMEX XT-1800 Hematology Analyzer. The Contractor shall only provide SYSMEX specified quality Reagents, Controls and Consumables under this contract. Services must be provided by a certified SYSMEX technician.

Period of Performance : The ordering period shall be for a period of 12 consecutive months, commencing on November 21, 2017 and extending through November 20, 2018. The contract will have no optional or additional ordering periods.

Place of Performance : The work to be performed and supplies to be delivered under this contract shall be at the designated delivery location. The designated delivery location is as follows:

Contract Type: The Government anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed Priced Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to fulfill this requirement, as there is an unknown, but continuing need for SYSMEX Hematology Reagents, which will be ordered on an as-needed basis and will be awarded based upon fixed unit pricing for the duration of the contract (12-month ordering period). The solicitation and subsequent award will contain a Pricing Schedule for the SYSMEX Hematology Reagents supply items that will be ordered under this contract.

NAICS Selection: The Government is considering soliciting using North American Industry Classification System ( NAICS) Code 325412 Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in manufacturing in-vivo diagnostic substances and pharmaceutical preparations (except biological) intended for internal and external consumption in dose forms, such as ampoules, tablets, capsules, vials, ointments, powders, solutions, and suspensions.

4) Company's National Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code Number;

5) Point of Contact, to include telephone number and email address; and

6) Brief Capabilities Statement of Company (Statements should describe recent and relative past performance to the NAICS code identified within this notice).
