This is a Synopsis as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e)) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416) and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 Publicizing Contract Actions.

The solicitation will consist of one NSN: 8120-01-602-0605

Line Item 0001: CYLINDER, COMPRESSED GAS

This item is proprietary to Scott Technologies. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. The solicitation issue date will be on or around 10/01/2024 and the closing date will be on or around 11/01/2024.

The solicitation will be unrestricted, utilizing other than full and open competition for a long-term indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract and does not authorize delivery of any material. The government plans to award a Fixed Price Contract, with one (1) year base period and four (4) one (1) year options, for a total of five (5) years, if exercised. Only FOB Destination pricing will be acceptable.

In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The SAM site may be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. The final contract award decision will be Price Only.

A copy of the solicitation can be obtained through the DLA Internet Bulletin Board System (DIBBS).
