Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Installation Contracting Office, West

Point, NY (MICC-West Point) is issuing this SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Fitness Equipment Maintenance and Repair at the United States Military Academy (USMA).

The estimated period of performance is 31 December 2024 30 December 2025 plus four (4) option years.

This requirement will be a 100% set aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 811430 Other Personal and Household Goods Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $9.0 million dollars and FSC/PSC of J039.

In order to be eligible for award, offerors must be registered as a Small Business concern under the appropriate NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov.

Background
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Installation Contracting Office, West Point, NY (MICC-West Point) is issuing this synopsis/solicitation for Fitness Equipment Maintenance and Repair at the United States Military Academy (USMA). The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of fitness equipment used by the academy's personnel.

Work Details
1. Contractor is to provide routine preventative maintenance and repair service on all exercise machines and equipment within the USMAPS Fitness Center. Maintenance will be executed quarterly as agreed upon by the Contractor and USMAPS and as needed if excessive failures exist.

2. Maintenance will be provided weekdays during the days/times the USMAPS Fitness Center is open unless approved otherwise by the Command. Quarterly maintenance to be performed following a schedule: December (during winter break), March (during spring break), June, September (coordinated with Athletic Department). Turnaround for maintenance needed due to failures outside of the quarterly schedule should be scheduled within 5 business days.

3. Contractor will provide all labor, tools, and repair parts. Repair components may be approved factory or reconditioned, charged to USMAPS at manufacturer’s resale value plus shipping and handling.

4. USMAPS will provide operator manuals for all equipment as they exist.

5. Contractor will warranty all work, services, labor, and/or materials provided.

6. Contractor will maintain Commercial Liability Insurance coverage in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 General Aggregate.

The estimated period of performance is from December 31, 2024 to December 30, 2025 plus four option years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School located at 950 Reynolds Road, West Point NY 10996-5000.
