The 49th Contracting Squadron intends to award, on a sole-source basis, a purchase order to Alaska Structures, Inc., Scottsdale, AZ to provide replacement parts for existing Small Shelter and Medium Shelter Systems designed/manufactured by Alaska Structures, Inc. with a delivery date of 60 days after date of contract.

This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(e), as required by 42 U.S.C. 1901(e)(2), and implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation of offers. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quote by the response date/time to the POC(s) identified, which shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
