Synopsis / Notice of Intent to Sole Source 1ID Data Analytics Training (Poland)

Background
The 1st Infantry Division (1ID) requires specialized training to enhance their capabilities in data analytics for command decision-making processes. The University of South Carolina's (USC) Darla Moore School of Business has established a partnership with the US Army Financial Management School since 2014, setting a training standard that the 1ID aims to maintain.

The goal of this contract is to provide an in-person instructional program that aligns with previous training received by 1ID personnel.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver a 10-day (80-hour) Intermediate Data Analytics Course tailored specifically to Army Data Systems and reports. This course will enable participants to utilize Power BI for creating organized dashboards that display current data, facilitating quicker leadership decision-making.

The training will incorporate U.S. Army-specific finance, logistics, contracting, and transportation systems into the curriculum, thereby reducing the learning curve compared to other vendors. All necessary instructional personnel and materials must be provided by the contractor.

The period of performance is from August 10, 2026, to August 21, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must have a proven track record of providing similar training services and must be capable of delivering instruction in Poland. The University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business is identified as the proposed contractor due to its established partnership with the Army and previous experience in delivering relevant training.
