Description

The U.S. Air Force (USAF) Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, is announcing its intent to solicit proposals under Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8003-19-R-A002. This solicitation will serve to acquire Expeditionary/Contingency Medical Materiel services in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The services provided on this contract support the United States Air Force (USAF), the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), the Air National Guard (ANG), the United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), and the JANUS (not an acronym) Project.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 493110, General Warehousing. The business size standard in dollars is $27.5M.

This acquisition is a total small business set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses.

The USAF intends to award a single-award C-type contract. The contract award will be for one (1) base year and up to four (4) option years.

All potential offerors should carefully review the instructions in the Addendum to 52.212-1 as well as the evaluation criteria described in Addendum to 52.212-2 of the Solicitation. AFICA will award contracts in accordance with the evaluation procedures established in the Final RFP. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.

The USAF is not responsible for notifying any interested parties of the solicitation beyond this notice. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the official government point of entry, www.fbo.gov, for further updates and instructions.

The USAF intends to hold a preproposal teleconference shortly after release of the final RFP. Please continue to monitor FedBizOpps.gov for updates.
