This solicitation is issued by the Nashville Area Office for the purpose of acquiring Surveying, Engineering Technician, and Construction Inspection Services. The contract aims to support ongoing construction utility projects, particularly in relation to sanitation facilities, and is a follow-on to a previously canceled solicitation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Drafting Capabilities: Must possess knowledge and experience in designing water and wastewater facilities and other civil engineering projects using Computer Aided Design (CAD). Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2022 (or later) is required, including skills in plan production tools and sheet management. The contractor must integrate new surfaces from TIN models, DTMs, orthoquads into existing design models.

2. Surveying: The contractor must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor or have one on staff with at least five years of experience meeting state requirements.

3. Construction Inspection: Personnel must provide construction inspection services for ongoing utility projects, with knowledge in reading specifications and construction drawings. Inspectors are required to be OSHA 10 certified.

4. Written Communication: Strong written communication skills are necessary for drafting guidelines, technical provisions, and compiling reports related to sanitation facilities construction projects.
