Background

The goal of this contract is to remove and install surgical scrub sinks in Building 1394, which is critical for the Surgical Tech Program Training Area, ensuring compliance with healthcare facility standards and infection control protocols.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, transportation, medical-grade materials, tools, incidentals, equipment, and Quality Assurance to remove existing surgical scrub sinks and install new medical-grade surgical scrub sinks.

The project includes:
1. Removal of six existing wall-mounted surgical scrub sinks with associated hands-free faucets.
2. Installation of six new medical-grade stainless steel surgical scrub sinks with hands-free features.
3. All necessary plumbing and electrical connections must be made to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
4. Specific tasks include isolating water supply lines, disconnecting existing fixtures, installing new sinks and faucets, ensuring proper drainage and operation of all components, and adhering to strict infection control protocols during construction.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall complete all work within 5 calendar days after contract award.

Building 1394, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must have appropriate contractor licensing for plumbing and electrical work. Bid/payment/performance bonds are required.
