Surgical Instrument Laser Barcode Etching Service

Background
The Department of Defense, United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC) is seeking capabilities statement from potential sources, including small businesses, for a service contract to provide customized Laser 2D Barcode Etching of up to 30,000 instrumentations with data entry services. The contract also includes UDI Application for new and existing instruments, education/training of Air Force employees, and the provision of weekend service to target surgical specialties.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of customized Laser 2D Barcode Etching of up to 30,000 instrumentations with data entry services. This includes UDI Application for new instruments, scanning and accurate data entry into the CensiTrac System. Existing instruments need to be reviewed for accurate description and unnecessary duplicates need to be eliminated. All sets need to be completed, finding replacements and scanning them into the CensiTrac System. Additionally, education/training of Air Force employees is required, including Laser Safety Training for two Air Force Employees and creating a job description for an Air Force Super User (trainer).
