Surgical Helmets and Accessories - Brand Name (Stryker) or Equal

Background
The West Haven, CT Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking to procure domestically manufactured surgical helmets and accessories. The goal of this contract is to acquire brand name or equal products that meet specific salient characteristics derived from the Stryker Brand Steri-Shield Surgical Helmet.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:
- 6 Surgical Helmets
- 3 Surgical Helmets with Light
- 2 Battery Chargers with Power Cord
- 12 Battery Packs

Salient characteristics required include:
- Precise temperature regulation
- Targeted temperature management
- Non-invasive, non-adhesive wraps
- User-friendly graphical interface with pre-configured settings and automated temperature control
- Mobile systems for easy transport
- Single-patient, disposable wraps and blankets
- Seamless system integration
- Automatic pause feature
- Ponytail pathway
- Three-magnet connection system.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be provided no later than 60 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
West Haven VAMC, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must provide quotations that comply with the specifications outlined in the solicitation. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a quote including their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and must be authorized distributors or manufacturers of the specified products.
