Description

This solicitation is for the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) in support of CSOSA's Office of Behavioral Intervention to provide supportive housing services.

Background
The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) was established in August of 1997 to manage pretrial services, parole, adult probation, and offender supervision in the District of Columbia. CSOSA's mission is to enhance public safety, reduce recidivism, and promote accountability through evidence-based practices in collaboration with criminal justice partners and the community.

The goal of this contract is to provide supportive housing services to assist offenders in achieving independent living and improving their capacity for employment and housing stability.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide supportive housing services for up to 180 days, focusing on preparing offenders for independent living. This includes:
- Placement in an independent living program to ensure stability while seeking employment.
- Support for offenders who have unstable housing situations or are homeless, allowing them to focus on skill development and job readiness without the daily pressure of finding housing.
- Target population includes male and female offenders referred by CSOSA who require immediate assistance with housing stability. Specific sub-populations include those who have completed the CSOSA Reentry and Sanctions Center Extended Stay Program.

Period of Performance
Base Period – 12 months after award; Option Periods – each lasting 12 months following the exercise of the respective option.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
