Support for Design, Development and Integration of a Mobile Over-the-Horizon Radar (MOTHR)   3

Background
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) requires Research and Development Support Services in the development of a radar prototype. NRL is looking for Contractor support for the development of a new prototype High Frequency (HF) over the horizon (OTH) radar system. The contractor will work alongside NRL's research team in providing support in key areas including, but not limited to: refinement of system requirements, system/subsystem design and development, mechanical analysis, specifying and procuring long-lead items, integration, testing, and signal processing.

Work Details
The work and services to be performed include furnishing all labor required to accomplish the requirements according to the Statement of Work (SOW), necessary travel, ODCs including material, equipment, and other ODCs required to meet requirements of the Statement of Work, all data as required by the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), DD Form 1423, delivery of CAP Items under this contract, and support for Design, Development and Integration of a Mobile Over-the-Horizon Radar (MOTHR).

Period of Performance
The work under this contract shall commence on date of award and be completed no later than 12 months thereafter. The remaining two (2), 12 month option periods shall be exercised at the sole right of NRL. Performance under this contract shall not exceed 36 months total.

Place of Performance
Tasks for this effort will be performed at the Contractor’s facilities, NRL-DC, Norfolk, NRL Chesapeake Bay Detachment at Chesapeake Beach, MD and other Government Field sites. Some of the work will need to be performed aboard sea vessels.
