First Article (FAT) testing is required. Contractor must submit a First Article Test Plan IAW DD Form 1423-1 and a First Article Test Report using DD Form 1423. Inspection and acceptance reports must be submitted using Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements apply. Contractor first article exhibit (destructive exhibit) ships in place at the contractor’s facility and is held until the First Article Test Report is approved and the QAR signs the WAWF receiving report confirming first article acceptance and can be invoiced for payment. Contractor may present this first article exhibit to the QAR for inspection/acceptance when it has received the First Article Test Report Approval Modification from the Contracting Officer. Offerors must be approved sources per source approval requirements; Government will not delay award to review pending SARs. Engineering Data List (EDL) and drawings are available via SAM.gov.
