Amendment 0001 purpose is to delete requirement for bid bond submission, see amendment 0001.

It is the intent of this solicitation to secure Road and General Construction Services required for the Superior National Forest for a five year period. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary. Tasks will consist mostly of projects such as culvert replacement, spot filling, gravel placement, bridge repair and general construction.

The Government may award one or more contracts as a result of this Request for Proposal. The not-to-exceed total contract value is $7,000,000. The guaranteed minimum amount for the contract is $1,000.

NAICS: 237310, the size standard is $45Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Solicitation number: 12445523R0009. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and have completed the online representations and certifications and be a certified 100% Small Business.

All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USDA Forest Service.

Projects will be at multiple locations throughout the Superior National Forest
