Super Typhoon Sinlaku Reef Impact Assessments

Background
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is issuing this solicitation for the Super Typhoon Sinlaku Reef Impact Assessments. The goal of this contract is to assess the impact of Super Typhoon Sinlaku on reef ecosystems, which aligns with NOAA's mission to understand and predict changes in the Earth's environment and conserve and manage coastal and marine resources.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of reef impacts caused by Super Typhoon Sinlaku. This includes:
- Performing field surveys to collect data on reef health and biodiversity.
- Analyzing collected data to determine the extent of damage to coral reefs.
- Providing a detailed report that includes findings, methodologies used, and recommendations for restoration efforts.

The contractor must submit a technical approach write-up detailing how they plan to perform these tasks, including performance checklists, anticipated staffing levels, and resource requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from June 15, 2026, to April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The assessments will take place in areas affected by Super Typhoon Sinlaku, primarily focusing on impacted reef locations.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be small business concerns as this acquisition is set aside for small businesses. They are required to provide at least two references from separate contracts demonstrating experience in similar services performed within the last two years. Additionally, bidders must submit a detailed technical approach along with their quotes.
