Amendment 0003 to add Amendment 0001 ATTACHMENT to solicitation. Amendment 0002 to correct the Amendment 0001 clerical error posting closing date of August 9, 2024, to August 16, 2024, as originally intended. Amendment 0001 extend the RFQ closing date to Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM Eastern. Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this solicitation for the supply of submersible grinder pumps to be used at the Summersville Lake Battle Run Lift Station in Summersville, West Virginia. The goal of this contract is to procure high-quality, efficient submersible grinder pumps that can operate under adverse conditions while ensuring maximum life and minimum life cycle costs.

The project aligns with the agency's mission to maintain and improve water management systems.

Work Details
The contractor shall supply and deliver four (4) 4" Submersible Grinder Pumps and four (4) 4” Replacement Lift Out Flanges. The specifications include:
- Mechanical and electrical requirements for squirrel-cage, induction motors, three-phase, designed for wet well submersible grinder pump applications in water and sewage.
- Design Operating Condition: 150 GPM at 72-FT TDH.
- Submersible motor design:
- 7.5 Horsepower
- 3450 RPM
- 240 Voltage
- 3 Phase
- 60 Frequency
- Service Factor: 1.20
- Insulation system: Class H rated for 311º F (155º C).
- All castings in the stator housing must be ASTM A48 Grey Cast Iron Class 30.
- The motor must be designed for intermittent duty handling pumped media of up to 140º F (60º C) ambient temperature.
- All bolted connections must use stainless steel fasteners and compression fitted O-rings.
