NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The following requirement is for an Urban Indian Organization (UIO) designated as an Executive Agency of the Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service. The following is a sole source under The Indian Health Care Improvement Act (IHCIA), PL. 94-437 and FAR 6.302-5 Authorized by Statue (a) (i) (i) A statute expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made through another agency or from a specified source.

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to . This is a non-personnel services contract for American Council on Alcoholism, Contract 75H70523D00010.

This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal/quotation.

Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Indian Health Service.
