The STEB system provides a submerged submarine with a surface buoy platform for communications, situational awareness, and collision avoidance data. // SOLICITATION DOCUMENT ACCESS: In order to receive access to applicable Government Furnished Information, potential Offerors will need to comply with Section L and submit the requested documents/ information. This solicitation is issued electronically via PIEE and interested parties must comply with that announcement. Interested Offerors should monitor SAM.gov and PIEE for the release of applicable amendments. // Disclaimer: The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this Solicitation. There is no funding associated with this announcement. This Request For Proposal is not to be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is issuing solicitation N00024-24-R-6231 for the procurement of the Submarine Tethered Expendable Buoy (STEB) system.
