Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has negotiated and issued a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement to MACTAGGART, SCOTT & COMPANY LTD for the procurement of Original Equipment Manufacturer hardware components for ten (10) hydraulic motors with integrated brakes for use on US Navy submarines.

Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), MACTAGGART, SCOTT & COMPANY LTD is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy's requirements for the specified effort. The BOA is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
