Description

National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a need to perform Structured Cabling services in support of engineering, operations, maintenance, and construction personnel for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The intent is to select a Structured Cabling services contractor that can perform a variety of structured cabling installation services for NIEHS. This effort includes, but not limited to the following services: end to end installation of horizontal network cable, end to end installation of horizontal and vertical backbone cable, pathway infrastructure installation and repair, demolition of existing abandoned communications infrastructure, mass notification and radio communication installation and/or repair, and mass notification and radio communication warranty services as identified in the individual task orders.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to perform Structured Cabling services to support engineering, operations, maintenance, and construction personnel for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

The goal is to select a contractor capable of providing a variety of structured cabling installation services.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a range of structured cabling installation services, including but not limited to:
- end-to-end installation of horizontal network cable;
- end-to-end installation of horizontal and vertical backbone cable;
- pathway infrastructure installation and repair;
- demolition of existing abandoned communications infrastructure;
- installation and/or repair of mass notification and radio communication systems;
- warranty services related to mass notification and radio communication as specified in individual task orders.

All work will be performed at the NIEHS campus in Durham, NC.
