Background
The American Embassy in Nicosia is seeking to enhance its structured cabling system at the West Office Building through Solicitation No. 19CY6026Q0022.

The goal of this contract is to install and configure a robust cabling infrastructure that meets the embassy's operational needs, ensuring efficient data transmission and connectivity.

Work Details
The work involves the installation of structured cabling, including:
- **Racks**: 20 total racks with specific dimensions; each standard rack is 558.8 mm wide, with one wider rack (#2).
- **Fiber Cables**: Offerors must provide 24 core fiber cables (4 cables total = 96 cores). FC/APC connectors are required despite being less common.
- **Patch Panels**: IP5x rated rack mount patch panels are acceptable due to their installation in a water-resistant cabinet.
- **Cable Management**: Vertical cable managers and accessories similar to Panduit’s NetRunnerTM are needed for effective organization. Each cable bundle must be labeled according to its rack, elevation, and cassette position.
- **Cassettes**: The layout will be coordinated during a Configuration Verification Meeting, with specific slots designated for copper and fiber connections.
