Stretchers

Background
The Hopi Health Care Center, part of the Indian Health Service (IHS), has recently renovated its Emergency Department (ED) to enhance patient care delivery. The goal of this contract is to procure new electric stretchers that meet current clinical and safety standards, replacing outdated equipment.

Work Details
The contract requires the procurement of seven (7) electric emergency room stretchers, specifically Stryker Prime Series Zoom Electric Stretcher units or equivalent approved models. Each stretcher must include:
- All standard manufacturer components and accessories for full functionality
- New, unused, current production model
- Fully assembled and operational upon delivery
- Features including electric height adjustment, mobility/steering system, side rails, patient positioning controls, and integrated safety features
- Construction materials suitable for hospital-grade cleaning and infection control.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be completed within a timeframe agreed upon at contract award, typically 30–90 days after receipt of order unless otherwise specified.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). Bidders must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system. The quote must include a copy of the authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer to verify authorization. Additionally, bidders must provide representations and certifications identifying their status as an ISBEE/Native American-owned small business.
