Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Base San Juan in Puerto Rico is seeking to procure street sweeping services to maintain cleanliness and safety within its facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all streets, roadways, and parking lots within the base are regularly swept and maintained, thereby supporting the operational readiness of the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supervision, and incidentals necessary for monthly street sweeping services at U.S. Coast Guard Base San Juan. The work includes:
- Sweeping of all streets, roadways, and parking lots within the complex.
- Collection and disposal of debris, litter, and leaves.
- Proper disposal of waste materials.
- Reporting any issues observed during sweeping (e.g., potholes, damaged signs).

The contract includes a base bid for a one-year service period with an optional follow-on service for an additional year. The contractor must possess all necessary licenses and insurance to perform street sweeping services as required by local jurisdiction. Operators must be properly trained and licensed. All work must be performed safely and professionally while minimizing disruption to traffic and pedestrian flow.
