W912EE - The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has issued Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation Number W912EE25BA009 for Stoplog Slot Construction, Ouachita River, Thatcher Lock and Dam, Calion, Arkansas.

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, for mobilization and demobilization; cofferdams and dewatering; construction of the new stoplog slots and associated work, including demolition, concrete work, bulkhead slot armor, bulkhead sill beam, handrails, miscellaneous metals, and painting; and environmental protection.

Background
The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, is issuing this solicitation for the construction of stoplog slots at the Thatcher Lock and Dam on the Ouachita River in Calion, Arkansas.

The mission of the Corps is to provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters. The goal of this contract is to enhance infrastructure by constructing new stoplog slots which are essential for water management and flood control.

Work Details
The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for:

- mobilization and demobilization;
- construction of cofferdams and dewatering;
- demolition;
- concrete work;
- installation of bulkhead slot armor;
- construction of a bulkhead sill beam;
- installation of handrails;
- provision of miscellaneous metals;
- painting; and
- environmental protection measures.

This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and environmental regulations.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete the work within 180 calendar days.
