This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price solicitation. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to: Starrag, CAGE 42FD7 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The solicitation is intended to be unrestricted in business size, other than full and open competition/after exclusion of sources. This is proposed to be a FAR 12 effort.

Description of requirements: One (1) Starrag Droop + Rein FOGS 85 85 TT85 M30 C, configuration P8025430/01 (Computer Numerical Control (CNC) High Speed Propeller Profiler, SU-27) in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-13-1001 dated 8 November 2023. Performance period/completion 340 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection at Origin and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Naval Foundry and Propeller Center, Philadelphia, PA 19112. The complete technical data package for VIBB 23-13-1001 including machine, installation, foundation, training, IUID tags, technical data, OSHA certification, removal of SU-10 machine, shipping, all design, lubrication, supplies, and labor requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-24-R-0001 [AS1] is anticipated to be issue on or around 24 April 2024.
