Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-06

Solicitation number 12443924Q0055 is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). The acquisition procedures at FAR Part 12 are being utilized. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price.

A formal pre-offer meeting is planned for 10 September 2024. All technical questions should be directed to sunday.street@usda.gov. See Attached Statement of Work (SOW).

All offers shall be submitted electronically, additionally, submittals received after the deadline will not be considered.

This procurement is being conducted under NAICS code 562910. In order to be a small business under this NAICS code a business must have $25M or less in average annual receipts in this category. This competition is a 100% small business set aside under this NAICS code.

All contractors wishing to do business with the federal government must have an active entry in the SAM computer system (https://www.sam.gov) and not be debarred from federal contracting.

Service Contract Act is applicable to this contract. Wage Determinations WD #: 2015-4701

Background
The USDA Forest Service is issuing this solicitation for mold remediation and restoration services at the Stanton Work Center Basement located in Stanton, KY. The purpose of this contract is to address mold issues in the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and incidental supplies required for mold remediation and restoration as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The tasks include:

1. Mold Remediation:
a. Remove all vinyl cove bases.
b. Remove all damaged drywall.
c. Remove exterior basement door, casing, and hardware.
d. Clean/disinfect all areas with a commercial formula that removes mold and mildew.

2. Restoration:
a. Replace damaged drywall ensuring that there is a capillary break between the drywall and concrete floor.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 10 to 30 calendar days from the start date as specified in the contract.
