Background
The solicitation is for the Stanley Lake Road and Alturas Lake Road Pavement Maintenance Project, Sawtooth NF. The project is located in the USDA Sawtooth National Recreation Area, Sawtooth National Forest, near Ketchum, Idaho.

The scope of the contract includes chip sealing 4.4 miles of Stanley Lake Road, reconstruction of approximately 1.7 miles of Alturas Lake Road, and chip sealing approximately 5.1 miles of double lane road. Other work includes asphalt concrete patching, crack sealing, pre-leveling in areas where the existing asphalt is uneven, striping, and other associated tasks.

The magnitude of the construction project falls between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Technical specifications include the use of biobased products to the maximum extent possible without jeopardizing the intended end use or detracting from the overall quality delivered to the end user.
