Standard Software Support Renewal of Symantec (Veritas) Backup Licenses

The Air Force Legal Operations Agency, Directorate of Legal Information Services (AFLOA/JAS) is seeking to purchase standard software support for Symantec/Veritas License Keys for Netbackup Software. The purpose of this contract is to renew support for the software used by AFLOA/JAS to maintain computer network systems, backup storage systems, and communication equipment in support of the Judge Advocate General Corps (TJAGC). The agency is responsible for maintaining over 60 applications and ensuring compliance with Air Force directives regarding data backup and preservation.

The required support includes tech-support via phone, email, FAX, and web during business hours, as well as bug/defect fixes via patches, updates/upgrades in function and technology, and rules maintenance and support. The period of performance for this acquisition is from August 19, 2022, to August 18, 2023. The place of performance/delivery is Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.

Additionally, the agency has expressed interest in three option years for this contract. The first option year would be from August 19, 2023, to August 18, 2024. The second option year would be from August 19, 2024, to August 18, 2025. And the third option year would be from August 19, 2025, to August 18, 2026.
