Standard Portable Electronic Maintenance Aid (PEMA) Aviation Maintenance Advancement Solutions (AMAS) Request for Information (RFI)

Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is seeking information for the Aviation Maintenance Advancement Solutions (AMAS) program, specifically for Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) fully ruggedized computers, referred to as Portable Electronic Maintenance Aids (PEMAs). The AMAS program provides unclassified PEMA capability for Fleet Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level maintenance activities. The program is responsible for hardware acquisition, warehousing, software imaging, distribution, replenishment, warranty repair, software development, and point patch release updates to the Fleet. The solicitation is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. It does not commit to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.

Work Details
The solicitation requests information on the availability of PEMA units capable of performing specific requirements stated in the attached Specification. It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a quantity of up to approximately 3,500 PEMA units per year for up to four (4) years.
Interested parties are requested to provide documentation describing COTS hardware units meeting these requirements. The response shall include administrative information such as organization name, mailing address, business type, and designated contractual point of contact; technical information including existing capabilities or products meeting the attributes, production lead times, unit pricing with current price list and projected costs for 4 years, certifications and standards, warranty options, end of life date, list of authorized distributors; COTS information including sales percentage to the general public and commercial availability; and documents compatible with Microsoft Office 2016 and/or the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader Portable Document Format (PDF). Responses are due no later than 15 days after posting.
