Description

This acquisition will be negotiated on a SOLE SOURCE. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date. A determination to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AS SOLE SOURCE TO FAIRBANKS MORSE LLC.

SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION FOR SERVICE REQUIREMENT. SERVICE MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH

THE STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) OR PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS). SOLICITATION FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED IN, SIGNED AND SENT IN WITH QUOTE FOR BID TO BE CONSIDERED.

Background
This solicitation is issued by the NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC) Puget Sound for a sole source requirement for OEM Fairbanks Morse LLC to provide SSDG Diesel Generator Overhaul Services. The goal of this contract is to accomplish non-nuclear ship repair, including maintenance, overhauls, and conversions, specifically for the SSDG systems. The work will be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor is required to accomplish the following tasks:

1. Perform non-nuclear ship repair including maintenance, overhauls, and conversions west of the 108th meridian.

2. Provide all labor necessary to meet the requirements outlined in Job Specification 38KMA31104-A01.

3. Coordinate work schedules with the Technical Point of Contact (POC).

4. Submit all required reports as specified in the Job Specification.

5. Ensure compliance with safety requirements as per OSHA standards and provide necessary safety equipment for employees during contract performance.

6. Report all contractor labor hours through a secure data collection site as required by U.S. Navy regulations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 22, 2025, to October 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Sasebo, Japan.
