SRS Athens, GA Janitorial Services

Background
The contract is for janitorial services at the Southern Research Station – Athens, Georgia Facilities (SRS Athens), which is part of the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station. The primary facilities are located on approximately three acres within the perimeter of the main campus of the University of Georgia in Athens-Clarke County. The contract will be awarded for one base year with four option years.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide janitorial services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) at the frequencies and standards identified in the SOW and Schedule of Items. This includes providing all personnel, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, supplies, and materials necessary to perform janitorial and related services.

The procurement requires the use of Biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. The contractor must comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local, State and Federal codes, mandates, and standards.

Period of Performance
Base year – 07/01/2024 thru 06/30/2025; Option Year 1 – 07/01/2025 thru 06/30/2026; Option Year 2 – 07/01/2026 thru 06/30/2027; Option Year 3 – 07/01/2027 thru 06/30/2028; Option Year 4 – 07/01/2028 thru 06/30/2029

Place of Performance
The janitorial services will be performed at the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station facilities located at 320 Green Street, Athens, GA 30602.
