Background
The Spring Creek North Ecosystem Restoration Project is being conducted in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. The project aims to restore and enhance the ecosystem in the area, which is part of the mission of the agency overseeing the contract. The goal of this contract is to perform various construction tasks that contribute to the ecological restoration efforts.

Work Details
The contract includes multiple construction tasks categorized as follows:

1. General Construction: Stabilized Construction Entrance; Perimeter Fence; Erosion & Sediment Controls; Demolition & Vegetation Clearing; Invasive Species Control (Belt Parkway).

2. Mobilization/Demobilization.

3. Upland to Wetland Excavation to Subgrade: Includes Tree and Stump Removal; Mowing; Earthwork (Excavate, Haul, Screen, Place); Disposal.

4. As-Built Surveys: Pre-Survey; Bottom of Excavation; Subgrade; Finish Grade; Record Drawing.

5. Earthwork - Clean Material Import & Placement for Wetlands: Sand Import; Clean Sand Placement (Wetland Conversion Areas); Thin Layer Place (Wetland Restoration Areas); Wetland Access Matting.

6. Access (Tidal Channel Crossings and Utility Crossings): Temporary Bridge; Ralph's Creek Access Road and Ramp; Utility Crossings; Paved Road Crossing Matting.

7. Wetland Plantings & Avian Exclusion Fencing: Wetland Plantings & Seed; Avian Exclusion Fencing.

8. Stormwater Management: Underdrains Pipes; Stormwater BMP Seed (Agency Procured).

9. Channel Modification & Stabilization: Channel Blocks; Channel Grading; Earthwork; Shoreline Stabilization.

10. General Construction (Upland Placement and Enhancement Areas): Upland Enhancement Area Mowing, Herbicide Treatment & Tree Removal.

11. Earthwork (Upland Placement Area): Clean Material Import & Placement for Upland Placement Area.

12. Upland Plantings (Upland Placement and Enhancement Areas): Maritime Grassland Plantings & Seed; Maritime Scrub Shrub Plantings & Seed; Maritime Forest Plantings & Seed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of approximately 730 days after notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Brooklyn and Queens, New York.
