Description

The Wright-Patterson AFB medical center is in need of a Specular Microscope. It is required to measure endothelial cells. Due to the mechanical stress of the surgery or UV exposure, endothelial cells will be lost. This device is used to get an accurate pre/post op measurement of how much effect the procedure had and continues to have on the posterior cornea.

Requirements:

  • o Photographing method non-contact
  • o Photographing range 0.25mm x 0.54mm
  • o Measurement mode auto/manual/auto alignment manual shot
  • o Capturing position center + 12 peripheral points
  • o Cornea thickness measurement accuracy - +/- 10pm
  • o Analysis method Core method
  • o Analysis values Number (the number of analyzed cells)
