The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill AFB, UT has a requirement for raw stock metals to repair and manufacture custom aircraft components and bushings on the A-10, B-1B, B-2, B-52, C-5, F-15, F-16, and T-38 landing gear. These raw stock metals will be procured under a Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA) and purchased as needed by an authorized list of personnel.

Q&A with potential vendors:

Question: Can you confirm the dimensions (OD, diameter, wall thickness) and form (bar, tube, sheet, plate)?

Answer: The dimensions and material forms will be specified at the call/order level when the request for quotes are sent out. This occurs after the BPA is awarded. Information on the quotes include wall thickness, heat treat, and type of material. These all vary per order. The requests from our customer usually range from 1-2'' OD to 14'' OD. When it comes to form, we will be needing tube, bar, plate, and sheet.

** UPDATE 2**

An amendment to the solicitation was accomplished to update the Appendix A Material list dated 13 Jun 2023. Clause 52.204-27 Tik Tok ban on government systems was also added to the solicitation. The proposal due date remains the same.

Background

These raw stock metals will be procured under a Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA) and purchased as needed by an authorized list of personnel.

Work Details
The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), UT has a requirement for a raw stock material to repair and manufacture custom aircraft components, specifically bushings on the A-10, B-1B, B-2, B-52, C-5, F-15, F-16, and T-38 landing gear. These raw stock metals will be procured under a five (5) year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and purchased as needed by an authorized list of personnel provided by Hill AFB Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
The ordering period will be five (5) years from the date of execution of the BPA. Each order under the BPA will not exceed $250,000.00. The vendor shall provide metals listed in Appendix A within the attached Purchase Description and Raw Material List. Additionally, the provided metals shall meet or exceed American National Standards Institute (ANSI). No precious metals are authorized on the BPA, and it is not to be used for the purchase of metals that have a National Stock Number (NSN). Metals that are not commercial items and are not made with metals produced in the United States are not authorized on this BPA.
