Description

The USDA, ARS (Agricultural Research Service) National Laboratory for Agriculutre and the Environment is establishing an IDIQ, for the Specialty Gas, in accordance with the attached solicitation (1232SA25Q0473) and statement of work.

Background
The USDA, ARS (Agricultural Research Service) National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment is establishing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Specialty Gas.

The mission of the USDA-NLAE in Ames, Iowa is to address critical problems in agriculture and watershed management, enhancing the efficiency of agricultural systems while reducing environmental risks.

This contract aims to support their research mission by providing high-quality specialty gases necessary for analytical instrumentation.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all specialty gases necessary as detailed within the Statement of Work.

Deliveries must be made within three (3) working days after receipt of an order by an authorized Government employee, with a frequency of two (2) times per week.

The following gases will be supplied:
- Compressed gas cylinders of 14 varieties including air, argon, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen.
- Liquid dewars of 2 varieties including argon and nitrogen.

Additionally, the contractor will rent cylinders and dewars to the USDA-NLAE.

The contract includes five ordering periods:
1. Ordering Period 1: 09/01/2025 - 08/31/2026
2. Ordering Period 2: 09/01/2026 - 08/31/2027
3. Ordering Period 3: 09/01/2027 - 08/31/2028
4. Ordering Period 4: 09/01/2028 - 08/31/2029
5. Ordering Period 5: 09/01/2029 - 08/31/2030.
