Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is issuing a solicitation for a special time charter of a U.S. Flag, Jones Act Compliant vessel that functions as a Maritime Support Vessel (MSV) to support various size craft operated by the Sponsor and Partner Nations. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price with reimbursable elements and will have a base period of one year and three one-year options, along with one final 11-month option.

Work Details
The vessel is required to support 29 Sponsor personnel with the ability to surge to 44 personnel for a maximum of 30 days without re-supply. It should also provide capabilities for launching and recovering, refueling and reprovisioning, limited maintenance for small boats, equipment stowage, messing, berthing, laundry, administrative/operational space, maintenance space, emergency towing, and logistics services in support operations. The contract will be conducted using Acquisition using Procedures.

The delivery schedule for the contract is from 01 May to 01 Aug 2023. The anticipated award date is on or about November 2022.
