Special Notice JBSA Randolph T-7 Shelters

Special Notice: This is not a solicitation or request for proposal. This notice is for informational purposes only, and no responses are being requested. No solicitation package is available, and telephone requests will not be honored.

This notice is to inform potential vendors that the 502d Contracting Squadron (502 CONS) intends to solicit proposals for the procurement and installation of T-7 sun shelters at JBSA Randolph, for the 12th Flying Training Wing (12 FTW). The installation of the pre-engineered sun shelters will meet the required specifications necessary to protect T-7 aircraft. The Government is contemplating the use of NAICS code 332311 and a small business set aside. The solicitation may be considered a supply with incidental construction under the aforementioned NAICS. The requirement will include groundwork (e.g. trenching and installation of piers), electrical work, paint marking, and installation of the sun shelters. The government may require bonding on the construction portion of the work.

The solicitation may be posted on or around 1 Jul 2025, with a site visit that may be scheduled for on or around 15 Jul 2025.

This special notice does not obligate the Government to post any future contract action related to this requirement.
