Special Airlift Support Services 437 Operations Group

Background
The 628th Contracting Squadron is seeking eligible businesses to provide contractor Special Airlift Support personnel at Joint Base Charleston, SC. Special Airlift (OGA), is part of the 437th Operations Group, Joint Base Charleston, operates under the Air Mobility Command mission providing an executive travel mission set in support of the Department of Defense and DoD counterparts. The 437th Special Airlift works directly with Maintenance Special Operations (MASOP) unit in the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron to provide maintenance and servicing the Special Mission Modules (SMMs).

Work Details
The primary purpose of this contract is to support the OGA/SMM operations and long-term maintenance of the SMM. Requirements include, but are not limited to, performing research, sustainment, and maintenance of the SMM's; supporting project design reviews, technical interchange meetings, program status reviews, flight readiness reviews; attending meetings and discussing activities or present data related to the SMM as requested by; supporting surge demands in staffing or workloads dictated by 437th OG operations or mission requirements by adjusting shifts or multiple shifts; administering, monitoring and overseeing the activities of the OGA members and associated MASOP personnel assigned to maintain the SMM's; training the OGA members and MASOP personnel on operations and troubleshooting on the SMM's.

Period of Performance
This contract will include a base period of ten (10) months and four (4) 12-month option years with a Period of Performance (POP) beginning 01 December 2022- 30 September 2023.

Place of Performance
Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, 437th Special Airlift Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), hangar 550, and but not limited to the C-17 Aircraft stationed at Joint Base Charleston while traveling with the SMM. During travel, the OGA may conduct mission operations from other facilities, and around the globe.
