Space Management and Related Support Services

Background
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of Acquisitions, is issuing an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to a Small Business Administration 8(a) contractor. This contract supports the SEC Facilities Branch, Office of Building Operations, focusing on Space Utilization, Office/Furniture Relocation, Facilities Helpdesk, and Related Services. The goal is to enhance facility operations and management primarily at the SEC Headquarters in Washington, DC, while also supporting ten SEC Regional Offices.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Space Planning and Integrated Workspace Management Systems (IWMS) and Facilities Operations Help Desk Support. Responsibilities include: monitoring facility space utilization; managing maintenance; ensuring compliance with SEC security regulations; maintaining satisfactory standards of competency and conduct for contractor personnel; submitting requests for telework and alternate work schedules as needed; managing key personnel availability; and ensuring that all issued identification badges are returned upon personnel departure. Contractor personnel must adhere to standards reflecting credit on themselves, the contractor, the SEC, and the Federal Government.

Period of Performance
The total duration of the IDIQ contract shall not exceed five years, inclusive of one year Base Period and four one-year Option Periods.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance is the Headquarters in Washington, DC metro area, with additional support for ten SEC Regional Offices.
