The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform grounds maintenance services at the various locations of the U.S. Marine Corp Base Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan. Locations of work include Camp Kinser, MCAS Futenma, Camp Foster, Camp Lester and Plaza Housing Area and Fort Buckner, Okinawa, Japan. The contract is a single award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type performance-based service contract comprised of Recurring and Non-Recurring work requirements. Anticipated period of performance is a twelve (12) month Base Period and seven (7) one-year Option Periods. The total period of performance is eight (8) years. Amend 0001 is issued to provide Government responses to the Pre-Bid Inquiries from bidder.

Background
