South Carolina Timber Support Services BPA

Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is issuing this solicitation to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for Timber support services. The goal is to engage contractors who possess the technical capability and relevant experience in timber sale preparation and common stand exam projects, specifically for the National Forests in South Carolina and Savannah River Site.

This initiative aims to enhance forest management and timber sales within these regions.

Work Details
Contractors will be responsible for providing Timber Support services across various Forest Service locations throughout South Carolina. Key tasks include:
1. Preparation of timber sales, including marking and cruising.
2. Conducting common stand exams.
3. Adhering to sustainable acquisition policies and utilizing environmentally preferable products and services.
4. Submitting invoices electronically via www.ipp.gov.
5. Completing required documentation such as Attachment 4 (Contractor Information), Attachment 5 (Relevant Experience Past Performance Questionnaire), and Attachment 6 (Technical Capability Statement).
6. Contractors are encouraged to submit pricing for the Philson’s Crossing Timber Sale Preparation project, although it is not mandatory for BPA consideration.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the resultant BPAs will be five years (60 months) from the date of award, with specific dates determined at the BPA Call Level.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within South Carolina, including:
- Sumter National Forest
- Andrew Pickens Ranger District
- Francis Marion National Forest
- Enoree Ranger District
- Savannah River Site
