Sources Sought - Small Business FY26 Clinical Research Protocol Data Support

Background
This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to gather information on small business capabilities for Clinical Research Protocol Data Support. The NIH's mission is to uncover new knowledge that leads to better health for everyone through research and training.

The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) focuses on understanding human development, improving reproductive health, and enhancing the lives of children and adolescents. The Division of Intramural Research (DIR) at NICHD conducts laboratory and clinical research programs aimed at understanding living systems and applying this knowledge to improve health outcomes.

Work Details
The contract will involve providing Clinical Research Protocol Data Support, which includes assisting with protocol design, data management, and reporting for various clinical research protocols. The NICHD intramural clinical research program encompasses five main areas: Adult, pediatric, and reproductive endocrinology; Human genetics; Public health (domestic and international); Typical growth and development; Women's health.

Specific tasks may include utilizing specialized clinical research systems such as the Clinical Trials Database (CTDB), which supports protocol design and clinical data management, as well as the Clinical Trial Survey System (CTSS) for patient questionnaire responses. The work will also involve collaboration with Principal Investigators and support for multiple protocols conducted primarily at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
