Sources Sought - Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Support

Background
The Army Contracting Command- Rock Island, in support of Product Manager (PdM) Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS), is seeking sources for several mission essential tasks/projects to be completed within eight months. This requirement is a continuation of a previous contract and is related to satellite communications (SATCOM) support. The specific tasks/projects include the procurement of radomes for Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan and Oakhanger in the UK, power upgrade at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, restoral terminal site preparation at various locations, Foreseer upgrade at Air Force facilities, and High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Transportable Terminal-Modified (HTT-M) sustainment.

Work Details
The tasks/projects include:
1. Muwaffaq Salti Air Base (MSAB) Radome Procurement: Procurement of a 68-foot MET compliant radome and associated Environmental Control Units (ECUs) for protection against extreme hot temperatures and sandstorms in Jordan.
2. Oakhanger Radome Procurement: Replacement of an existing radome at Oakhanger, UK with upgrades for a 20-year life span and modernized smoke detection and fire alarm system.
3. Ramstein Power Upgrade: Upgrading the power system at Ramstein Air Base to reflect the target power architecture and Tier IV data center requirements.
4. Restoral Terminal Site Preparation: Design and implementation of site preparation for a restoral terminal at Thule Air Base, Ascension Air Station, and Eareckson Air Station.
5. Foreseer Upgrade: Upgrading the existing Foreseer system with the latest operating system software at Ramstein, GE, Fylingdales, UK, and Oakhanger, UK.
6. High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Transportable Terminal-Modified (HTT-M) Sustainment: Support for the HTT-M installation at a special location.

Period of Performance
The tasks/projects are to be completed within eight months.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the work will be performed include Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, Oakhanger in the UK, Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Thule Air Base, Ascension Air Station, Eareckson Air Station, as well as specific Air Force facilities at Ramstein, GE, Fylingdales, UK and Oakhanger.
