Sources Sought - S201–Hospital Housekeeping Services – Alaska Healthcare System- Department of Veterans Affairs   3

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:

1. Title: Hospital Grade Housekeeping Services
2. Tasks: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management support, transportation, equipment, paper products, soap products, materials and non- personal services necessary to provide complete hospital housekeeping, general housekeeping, and Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) collection. Estimated 272,102 SF total for all locations. Housekeeping will include the following:
   • Common/Corridors/Stairwells/Elevators
   • Patient Rooms, Patient Restrooms and Patient Care Rooms
   • Outpatient Clinics
   • Administrative areas and offices

4. NAICS Anticipated: 561720, Janitorial Services, $22M

5. Type of Contract Anticipated: FFP

6. Period of Performance Anticipated: 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2029 (Base + 4 Option Years); additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.

Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
