Sources Sought Pool Services Aberdeen Proving Ground

Background
The contract is for pool maintenance and repair services at the Shore Park Pool in the Aberdeen Area (AA) of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The contract is issued by the United States Army Contracting Command, Tenant Division, Facilities Branch to support Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) activities. The contract is set to last for one (1) base year and four (4) option years.

Work Details
The contractor is required to prepare for opening, season operation, minor repairs, and closing at the Shore Park Pool. This includes providing all chemicals for daily operations, preparing the pool for opening and closing, maintaining and repairing pool facilities, developing a preventive maintenance plan, providing monthly inspection reports, and ensuring the proper functioning of circulation, heating, and filtration systems. The contractor is also responsible for winterizing and de-winterizing the pool house buildings 2028 and 2031 at Shore Park Pool. Additionally, the contractor must comply with various regulations related to pool maintenance and provide emergency repair services within one hour of notification.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is slated for one (1) base year starting from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. This will be followed by four (4) option years with each year starting from April 1st and ending on March 31st.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at the Shore Park Pool facility located in the Aberdeen Area of APG adjacent to Building 2031. Additionally, Shore Park Pool Buildings 2028 and 2031 will also be used for pool maintenance services.
